Dinners - Seated Plated / Buffet Dinner
A Taste of Monterey offers a unique Wine Country element to your events. We offer formal, plated dinners, strolling dinners and buffets at either of our private facilities, and we can customize the event for your group. Your dinner will be preceded by a wine tasting reception featuring a selection of Monterey County wines. Once seated, we can serve wine to complement your meal or create an interactive pairing or competition for a more educational wine experience. Our on-site coordinator will help you develop the space and create the atmosphere you desire for your guests. Music and flowers can be arranged, and chairs, tables and audio equipment are also available.
For maximum flexibility, our catered Moveable Wine Country program brings wine tasting activities directly to a dinner or reception for your group, at the venue of your choice. We are available to pour hand selected wines to pair with your meal and offer any needed commentary or presentations. Select a wine tasting reception, teambuilding activity, wine and food pairing or wine seminar to spice up the dinner festivities.
Scheduling a tasting reception and dinner wine pairing is made simple with the following three options. Each program is based on a per person fee, plus an administration/staff fee of $50 per wine station. Choose one of our two event locations or have us come to you with our Movable Wine Country program.
Option I. Premium $18 A selection of our most popular Monterey wines. The wines will satisfy a wide variety of taste preferences.
Option II. Premium Award Winners $25 A selection of our super premium award winning Monterey County Wines. These special wines are examples of some of the finest wines in the state.
Option III. Ultra Premium Reserves $30 A selection of reserve handcrafted wines. The wines are smaller in production and very rare. These wines are sure to please the most discriminating of palates.
